HealthBarn USA is a leading voice in family nutrition, based in Ridgewood, New Jersey. We have been empowering children and families to live strong, energetic lives for more than 20 years through proprietary, science-based, hands-on nutrition curricula taught at the Ridgewood campus, schools, libraries, camps and other learning centers throughout the greater New York area.

Healthy Habits for Life - From a Proven Leader 

2005: HealthBarn USA opened for classes by Stacey Antine, MS, RDN and her team, to teach children about nutrition by growing, harvesting and cooking with their own bounty in the midst of a growing epidemic of childhood obesity and chronic diseases in children as a result of lifestyle choices.  Antine knew from her first-hand clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian, that creating an exciting, engaging hands-on educational experience was critical to help change children's habits.

2012 - 2023
: HealthBarn's proprietary curricula has been integrated into over 50 programs for children, ages 3-15, taught in Ridgewood, schools and other learning centers. Antine wrote Appetite for Life, The Thumbs-Up, No-Yucks Guide to Getting Your Kid to Be a Great Eater, published by HarperOne with over 100 kid-approved recipes.

Today
: HealthBarn's mission to empower children and families to lead strong and energetic lives is on course to spread nationally through the Culinary Creations Program that has schools and students coming back for more!  And, more nutrition education programs are in development and will be available soon!

Culinary Creations Educator Training
& Programs

The proprietary Culinary Creations 1.0 & 2.0 Programs are available to teach as an after-school enrichment program, or within the school day for elementary school students in a variety of learning settings. We offer Culinary Creations 1.0 and 2.0 — so you can teach a full year of contagiously fun nutrition education.

Fall & Spring Semesters: The 12-week curricula for each semester include a hands-on recipe, interactive nutrition lesson and fun activities each week to make sure these lessons stick.

Training & Programs Bundled: The Culinary Creations 1.0 Educator Training (6-8 hours including live coaching session with Founder, Stacey Antine, MS, RDN) and Culinary Creations 2.0 Refresher are each bundled with 12 weeks of lessons to ensure HealthBarn's methodology and content are delivered for a Thumbs-Up experience.
